Jaylon McPhee
Pastor
Background
Pastor Jaylon McPhee is the son of our founder Bishop Bernard & Mother Angela McPhee. He has
served in the Youth Ministry, and music Ministry from a young man. Pastor Jaylon would later serve as
Assistant Pastor to our late Apostle Bernard McPhee and would hold that post for over 20 years. Pastor
Jaylon is a graduate of The University of the Bahamas and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management.
He is an engineer by profession and works at the largest oil refinery company in the
Caribbean.
Edwin Martinborough
Elder
Background
Elder Edwin Martinborough is a dedicated and committed minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He
accepted Jesus Christ as Lord at the young age of 21 and has never looked back. Elder Martinborough is a Customer Service Employee at the biggest Insurance Agency in the Bahamas. He also started his
theological studies at The Bahamas Commonwealth College and continues to pursue the highest levels of the study of the word of God. He has served as a Deacon, Men’s Ministry Leader and Sunday School teacher.
Elder Martinborough exemplifies, mercy and grace toward the body of Christ and has a deep
desire that all understands the love of God and the awesome work that Christ Jesus wrought on the
cross of Calvary. He and his lovely wife have 5 kids and they all serve faithfully. His hobbies include
fishing and volleyball.
Jerome Strachan
Elder
Background
Elder Jerome Strachan received Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour of his life on February 13, 1995 under
the leadership of our late Apostle Bernard E. McPhee. Elder Strachan, served as Sunday School
Superintendent, Church Bus driver, and Men’s Ministry Leader.
Elder Strachan is a Teacher by
profession, at one of the biggest high schools on the island of Grand Bahama. He earned his Bachelor of
Science Degree in Business Management from Bethune Cookman University in Daytona Beach Florida,USA.
He is an avid sports enthusiasts accomplished assisting his son Michael Strachan in being drafted into the National Football League of the United States. He and his wife have six kids and are dedicated
to the advancement of the kingdom of God.
